2025 marks twenty years since the first TDR was released, setting off a historical timeline that would be the envy of many.
To commemorate two decades of this superior performance we have released two limited edition models of TDR-QD AB; a 3012 and 4012, both in single handle.
The All Black limited editions offer all the technology and features of the current ‘blue’ choices.
Utilising AIRDRIVE Design and still using a hard aluminium body, the mechanism stay perfectly aligned when operating under load. This combined with Digigear II and 7BB ensure a superior level of smoothness and power delivery.
That ‘first’ in match and feeder reels, the ultra secure, wind on handle ensures direct transmission through to the drive gear, optimising power delivery.
Power and smoothness also comes from the AIRDRIVE Rotor and AIRDRIVE Bail. The rotors advanced spherical shape perfectly displaces load and the lighter but rigid Zaion V material makes sure it gets moving with minimum lag, so the reel winding responsiveness is now even higher.
Original Daiwa features such as HIP line clip and QD Quick Drag assist with distance control and fish playing whilst the full spec spare spool finish off float and feeder perfection.
